Rudolf Hess
[edit]Thank you for your contributions there. Could you please post at Talk:Rudolf Hess to see if we can get a consensus version of your proposed additions? --John (talk) 17:54, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
- I really appreciate that you want to contribute material here, but I have had to remove it as it was badly formatted and badly written. Again, could you please post at the discussion page linked above, so that we can discuss? --John (talk) 18:38, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
Some advice
[edit]I see you followed my suggestion to raise your proposals at Talk:Rudolf Hess. Can I request that you show respect for the existing editors who wrote the existing content by:
- Listen to good-faith objections
- Present your proposals calmly, without SHOUTING
- Use formatting to separate your comments from those you are replying to. The easiest way is to ask in separate subsections.
- Be prepared to compromise, as that is always how these things are solved.
If you can do all these things, there is no reason why the article could not incorporate some of your proposed material. You should also be aware though of our policy WP:COI and you should realise that this may apply in your case. Best wishes, --John (talk) 23:00, 30 October 2017 (UTC)
- Again, please don't put comments into someone else's. Look at how others do it. Separate your comments please. John (talk) 10:24, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
Thank you, but I hope in turn you can understand my frustration when I am being told that engines and fuselages I have seen in Duxford are not there. Jtg harris (talk) 17:29, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
- Of course I can. Look, everyone here is a volunteer; articles contain mistakes, which get corrected. They get out of date and get corrected. You need to adjust to that. This is all normal stuff. Be patient and listen to others and you will get on fine here. --John (talk) 20:47, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
