Proposed deletion of Future\Perfect Ventures

[edit]

The article Future\Perfect Ventures has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:BASIC with only a single secondary source.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You have been blocked from editing for a period of two weeks for sock puppetry. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 22:23, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Jsr2171". The reason given for Jsr2171's block is: " Wikipedia Checkuser.svg CheckUser evidence has determined that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely to prevent abuse. Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed. Administrators undoing checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser risk having their administrator rights removed by the Arbitration Committee (per this announcement). ".

Decline reason: Errm, did you actually read the text which you copied into this unblock request? If you did, you will see that it states that the autoblock was placed there to stop you from editing. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:02, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi jamesbwatson,

Thank you for responding. Yes, I did read the text and realize that I was blocked so I would stop editing. As I was not purposefully using my account "abusively" I was asking for it to be unblocked? I'm unclear about how I was abusing my account. In fact, was editing it to make the article fit the guidelines so it wouldn't be deleted. It was in no way meant to be a "promotional" page. I would appreciate it if you would consider unblocking me.

Thank you. —  Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsr2171 (talkcontribs) 19:28, 9 July 2015

Requesting an unblock of an autoblock is for the situation where one editor is inadvertently prevented from editing by a block intended for another editor, not for the editor who has been deliberately blocked to request an unblock. To request to have this account unblocked you need to follow the instructions in the block message above. Also, the fact that you encountered the autoblock notice indicates that you must have tried to evade the block, either by using another account or by trying to edit without logging in: otherwise you would only have seen the block notice for this account, not the autoblock notice. Since you are blocked for sockpuppetry, and you have tried to avoid the block, which effectively amounts to further sockpuppetry, the length of the block will be increased. ...and since you have used more sockpuppets since the block length was increased, the block has now been made indefinite. Considering that your only purpose here was to sue Wikipedia for advertising, you would probably have been blocked sooner or later anyway.
