Chicken

[edit]

All sources, and the examples you gave, were of European arrivals to North America, not South America. The Grand Banks is off the American-Canadian Atlantic coast, and the Vikings are also to North America. They are separate continents. VanTucky 22:16, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Hedgehog Day

[edit]

An editor has nominated Hedgehog Day, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hedgehog Day and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:59, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Tita Vendia vase, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tita Vendia vase. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ηyχαμς 11:10, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you don't mind I'll take care of the article. There are plenty of sources on the subject, it's just a matter of proper referencing and formatting. I recall this Tita Vendia from the fifth grade (and it was thirty years ago!), but cannot find any images of the thing on the web. Alas, all sources describe writing but not the provenance - how and where it was found, who owns it now etc. East of Borschov (talk) 19:18, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
