Liverpool

Consensus on the kit issue is here. I did try to drum up interest for a LFC project, a la Sheffield Wednesday, but it didn't quite work out. A task force might be an idea, though, the articles need some co-ordination. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ArtVandelay13 (talkcontribs) 19:29, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I've joined as well cheers for the invite NapHit 15:57, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeh I know :( I think we should focus on getting Liverpool F.C. to FA first and then get everything up to that standard. Hopefully List of Liverpool F.C. managers will pass FLC NapHit 16:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Rihanna Discography

I need your help with the article "Rihanna Discography". The user IP Adress, 80.108.115.119 keeps on changing the positions of the songs, "Pon de replay", "If it's lovin' that you want" and "SOS" in the Canadian section, to incorrect information/chart positions. The correct chart positions are listed in each individual article for each of the songs but this user won't take any notice of them. "Pon de replay" peaked at #7 in Canada, as stated in its own individual wikipedia article. I have also posted up several notices in the page's talk page but have recieved no reponses. So please if you have any ideas or suggestions as to how u can help me from preventing this user from further posting up any false information, please let me know. 220.101.48.181 8:50, October 5, 2007 (UTC)

Liverpol FC project parameters

There's a huge error with these paramaters that is putting the talk page of any tagged file into the top Liverpool F.C. category. Can you get this fixed? It really shouldn't happen. ArtVandelay13 17:40, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The idea was for the LFCEurope page to replace Liverpool F.C. in Europe, which seems a bit untidy for me. I kind of ran out of steam, though, but I've been meaning to pick it up and finish it, which I will do soon. When it's done, I'll replace that page. ArtVandelay13 12:10, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Liverpool F.C. importance rating

Your point is a good one and I've added a comment of my own. I'll post a link on the main WPFOOTY Talk page to ensure it gets read. --Jameboy 11:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Re:Autotagging

Hello, Just replying on User:Martinp23s behalf as he is away/busy atm

I also have my bot User:Reedy Bot approved for fully automated wikiproject tagging - So i can help you out if you would like with tagging with {{Football|England=yes|Liverpool=yes|importance=|class=}}

If you send me lists of any categories you want doing (Category:Liverpool F.C. & Subcats?), and i shall sort them out for you!

The software we use is AutoWikiBrowser with the User:Kingbotk/Plugin. This can be done using a semi automated method - ie user clicks save to approve saves of articles, using AWB, or fully automated using an approved bot.

The plugin is rather useful, as it can accommodate custom projects, as well as some pre-defined ones. It can also be used to help out with Assessments - Speeding up the process of that!

Just give me a shout if you want me to go ahead and such.

Reedy Boy 13:57, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

If you have AWB access (just apply if over 500 edits), then yes, anyone "can" do it. Just i have a bot request approved for automated tagging. The bot can handle half completed, not completed... Etc etc.. Let you know when im done! Reedy Boy 17:17, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorta, yeah. I did it quickly via a different method before i ran for my tea - The plugin i used, i forgot, does not currently support custom parameters without them being coded for. I then realised when i came back up to check on it, that it had been nuking some parameters and assessments - Which i then went and fixed, with some help from someone else who i noticed was readding stuff. Its things like that wind me up with WP - People doint notify you of the issues - Ie just talk about it on project pages, and its not like i recked hundreds of taggings - I reverted/fixed most of the errorneous ones! I did however, after that, then get it to tag specifically any talk pages that had no tags at all. So most of them probably have been tagged. I suspect upwards of 50%. Its also made me think of an easier way to expand the plugin to cope with custom parameters! Reedy Boy 09:36, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Dont worry about it! It was my own fault ;) No Harm done. Reedy Boy 11:06, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the comments on the Raikkonen naming debacle. While I don't overly care much about it, the whole tone of 'You guys are idiots for not wanting to spell out his name in letters that don't even exist in the language the encyclopedia is meant to be written in' rankles me.Narson 11:10, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Source did contain release date.

Hey Jrphayes. You recently undid an edit I made to Manhunt 2, due to it not showing the release date. The page I cited did not have an article about the date change, but it had information about Manhunt which showed the release date on the right side of the page, since it was the main page for Manhunt 2 information. I'll link to it again, maybe you'll be able to find it this time. http://wii.ign.com/objects/883/883115.html

However, I have found a better source, and you should be able to find it faster. (It's under the release data (Not date, data.) tab.) http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/data/938207.html

Also, the official Manhunt site said the game was "In Stores Now" on the 29th, however there is no way of proving that now since it's the 31st. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalidascorp (talkcontribs) 21:46, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't think it's necessary to actually include my sources in a simply summary of my edit. (And I don't think I'd have enough room to do that either) I cited the sources for the facts I have added, however. I am new to editing in Wikipedia, but I'll get the hang of it eventually.
