Sarah: The draft looks a whole lot better than the original article! I really liked how you guys included examples under each of the different management styles. I would suggest maybe including one more example under each just for extra clairification. Under the participative system, the system wasn't really defined until the middle of the paragraph. For someone reading this who isn't sure the the human-resources theory is, this might be a bit confusing to them. I was also a little confused with the line that says, " Managers recognize problems that occur when there is little cohesiveness between members of an organization." Also, maybe I would look into capitalizing each word in each section. For example, change "Management systems" to "Management Systems" ? and "Exploitative authoritative" to "Exploitative Authoritative" ?
Response to comment above: Sarah, thank you so much for your feedback! Our plan is to also add another org. com. example for each system in order to create a better understand of how these function in the workplace. Also, our group will address the inconsistencies found in the Participative category. Clarifying this section is important to us, because our team believes that this is the most beneficial system within Likert's Management Systems.
Alli: I would reiterate the number of each system formally in the paragraph. I know that it is in heading for each section, but I think to make it more clear it should be written in the first paragraph of each system. Additionally, say what each system is right away similar to the paragraph on benevolent authority. Everyone also used different terms to talk about each system such as "this style, this theory, this system, etc.". To make everything more cohesive and easier to understand, choose one word to use through out the entire article. Try to add one more example for each system to ensure that other readers have a good understanding of each. Hamptal (talk) 20:46, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
Response to comment above: Alli, thank you for your feedback! Our team will definitely fix these issues in order to make our article more consistent. We will also reiterate the systems in order to make sure the reader understands which system they are reading about.
Olivia: I liked how your article is clear cut and consistent! The construction you acquired makes the article read to read, follow, and understand. Suggestions: Each section has different kinds of examples; some being from media, history, and current organizations. For the reader to grasp full understanding of each style, maybe incorporate an example from each category: history, the media, and a current/familiar organization that obtains the respective style. This way, the style can relate to your audience of all ages and abilities. Another suggestion is adding the overall employee satisfaction in the exploitative authoritative, for it is listed in the rest of the systems.
Response to comment above: Olivia, thank you for your feedback! We will definitely address some of the examples in order for the reader to fully grasp the concepts. Our team will also add the employee satisfaction to the first system. This is definitely something that we missed while making changes and edits to the article.
