- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Freddrow, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://freddrow.com/.
It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:32, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Jpwproduction. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Freddrow, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
- instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 15:51, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Freddrow
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Freddrow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://freddrow.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Jpwproduction", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Drm310 (talk) 18:58, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Thank you for your interest in creating an article for Freddrow on Wikipedia. There are multiple problems with your submission. You cannot post copyrighted material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder. In short, a copyright owner cannot offer Wikipedia a one-time license for use. Rather, the copyright to the material has to be released – permanently and irrevocably – into the public domain or under a free copyright license that is compatible with Wikipedia's licenses. This is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, so all content must be licensed for that purpose. You can learn more about this policy at Wikipedia:Copyrights.
The second problem is notability. I am not sure the film you are writing about is notable enough, as Wikipedia defines it, to have an article. We require write-ups in reliable third party sources such as newspapers, magazines, or online publishers to establish notability. New articles about persons or things that are not notable are typically speedily deleted.
The third problem is conflict of interest. Writing an article about your own work (or that of a client) is strongly discouraged, as it is difficult to maintain the required neutral point of view.
If you'd like to use the copyrighted content in an article, you can follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission on how to obtain the proper licensing. If you are the copyright holder, refer to Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for how to grant us permission to use your content. Alternatively, you could write a new article that does not closely paraphrase the material available online. However you would then still have to abide by the conflict of interest guideline, and even so, there is a likelihood that the article may be speedy deleted due to lack of notability.
I'm sorry this message could not be more favourable. If you have any questions, you can leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 18:59, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
I do have the copyrights, and we will soon be notable.
[edit]I appreciate your feedback, even though it was quite discouraging. Our movie will soon be notable (announced and published by many). I have to have my attorney look at your copyright rules. I will have someone else a 3rd party write about the movie "Freddrow" © in your Wikipedia.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
JoAnn Pinkney Wilcox Producer of the movie "Freddrow" ©
I am trying to change my user name in order to comply( even though the one I have, I can not see that I am not) .. I was only able to change my signature.
[edit]The user name that I have does not mention my company, or product. I am confused on why I am being told that I am not complying, but out of respect I tried to change my user name, and I am not able to. I was able to change my signature, but not my user name.
- Hello Joanne. Please try the following link: Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. There are step-by-step instructions there that should help guide you through the process. --Drm310 (talk) 13:29, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

Due to having to go back into Post Production.. I would like to delete my page at this time...
[edit]I have to go back into Post Production now, so I no longer have the time to understand your policies. At this time I am deleting my article about my movie "Freddrow" © which will be in theaters in 2017 . I am very leery about the Wikipedia part that states that I have to give you permission to change anything that you would like about my movie production "Freddrow" © in order to post the article with Wikipedia. This I do not agree to, and I do not give you permission to do so. When I am able to take a break again from production, I will schedule a time with my attorney to have him go over everything and take care of the posting of my movie "Freddrow' © on your Wikipedia website, if he sees that it is to my, and the productions' best interest.
Thank you for your time, and consideration.
JoAnn Pinkney Wilcox Producer of the movie "Freddrow" ©
- Hi JoAnn. An administrator (not me, I am not an administrator) will delete the page within a few hours or days, depending on the backlog of other pages waiting to be deleted.
- When you return to Wikipedia, I highly recommend that you first review Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest (COI) guide. Users who have a vested interest in a topic will rightly be subjected to extra scrutiny to ensure that they don't use Wikipedia to promote or publicize their works. It's for this reason that we recommend that users with a COI use the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating articles directly. AfC allows you to create a draft article that can then be reviewed by uninvolved editors.
- If and when you do try again, you'll be expected to show that your film is already notable by having received significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources. This includes online and print versions of major TV news organizations, newspapers, magazines and trade publications. If it has an established reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight, it will be considered a reliable source. The list of resources at Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Resources may also help.
- Lastly, keep in mind that anything you contribute to Wikipedia can be edited by others, perhaps extensively over time. No one owns article content, and you won't be able to insist that an article about your film remains at a version that you prefer. Article content is arrived at by consensus in accordance with Wikipedia policies.
- In the meantime, good luck with your film. --Drm310 (talk) 19:40, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]Thank you Drm310 (talk) for all of the information you gave me. I understand. I will have everything prepared if we decide to use wikipedia again. Producer JoAnn Pinkney Wilcox

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Jpwproduction/sandbox
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Jpwproduction/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:17, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
