Spectrum 1: The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Spectrum 1: The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 16:37, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
I'm sorry but I don't understand how this works. I'm trying to write an article about a series of books published annually called Spectrum: The Best In Contemporary Fantastic art. In Sandbox, I have the main page of the article describing how the series was created and notable information. On that page I also have the list of volumes (Vol. 1, 2, 3, etc) which will be links to each individual Wikipedia page for each volume after I've created them. I thought I would be creating sub-pages of the main article. In Sandbox, I created the first volume page, which you have moved to Draftspace.
I thought if I create pages in Sandbox, they remain saved, but not published until I'm finished and submit the entire article for review. Because each sub-page is a simple description of each volume, do they need citations as well? Thank you for your time and attention.
- You created the page in main space, not the sandbox. Pages in the main space need reliable sources, and they also need to show that the subject is notable: see WP:NOTABILITY and WP:NBOOK for guidance. I moved it to the draft space so that you can continue to work on it without it being deleted. ... discospinster talk 17:19, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Can you please delete this page? I have a better idea for how to present the information on individual volumes and won't need this page anymore. Thank You very much.

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Spectrum: The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art, from its old location at User:Jpvicas/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 19:42, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
