Your request for rollback
[edit]Hi JDP90. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 21:07, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

user Rak-Tai
[edit]I am user Rak-Tai, currently in Thailand, and online with my iPhone, which does have a method to log in. Please refer to my message about harassment on the talk page of Takeaway. This harassment has been going on for several years and I have decided I can make better use of my time. 101.109.148.63 (talk) 18:51, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- If you are continuously harassed by any other user why don't you protect your user page. I have seen this ip (as you said it is you from your iphone) is deleting contents of your user page & I read on that talk page that you are leaving wikipedia. You can apply for protection of your page. Joydeep (talk) 19:33, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Revert of "Hoodie"
[edit]Hello JDP90,
My edits in the Hoodie article were made in good faith and not intended to be destructive. Can you be more specific about how they were not constructive?
Thanks for the feedback
173.133.130.151 (talk) 07:38, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Moi
- You described Hoodie as a slang term. I think it is not. Your other edits was not destructive. If you did not intended to be destructive then I feel sorry for any inconvenience. Joydeep (talk) 07:54, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- No problem :) 173.133.130.151 (talk) 08:01, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Moi

Marika Gombitova
[edit]Hey Joydeep, why did you rollbacked my last edit of the article of Marika Gombitova? She really recorded her last song in 2007 and this is possibly gonna be her last recorded song ever, so it should be mentioned in the article.78.128.187.173 (talk) 17:34, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hello, the song you included "Tak som chcela..." is mentioned in the introduction of the article as ".....while her latest airplay single "Tak som chcela všetkých milovať" reached on the Slovak component playlist number #20" with reference. You are repeating the same. Joydeep (talk) 18:04, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you, didn't notice that...78.128.187.173 (talk) 20:03, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
False Info
[edit]This is false info on the page Justice Crew
Philanthropy
The group's mentor Maurice June created a non-profit organisation known as MMAD Moves (Musicians Making a Difference), which teaches dance lessons to children, teenagers and adults who cannot afford to pay for classes.[24] June teamed up with The Salvation Army to connect the program with a church.[24] Justice Crew have previously joined June at various Salvation Army corps, including Miranda, New South Wales and Hurstville, New South Wales.[24] They also regularly perform at the annual Christmas Carol events, such as the Carols in the Domain and Carols in the City, where performers donate their time to raise money for various charities.[25][26] 101.169.252.171 (talk) 20:06, January 19, 2012 (UTC)
- You should discuss the matter on that articles talk page. Besides, I'm not the only user to revert that edit. That edit was previously reverted by another user. Joydeep (talk) 16:20, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Pankaj Oswal
[edit]Thank you so much for undoing the malicious edits to this page 25 January. I half expected some negative edits as there is a great deal of media associated with Pankaj Oswal at this time. Being very new to wiki editing I'm not sure I could have successfully dealt with the onslaught of editing that occurred yesterday so again many thanks. A fair go (talk) 13:18, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
- You are most welcome. Negative edits can occur as anyone can edit here in Wikipedia. But there are many editors in Wikipedia who reverts those edits. Joydeep (talk) 13:53, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Heads up
[edit]I have reverted Simon Steel back to the cricketer it should be about, the Suffolk one born in 1969. An IP editor has changed the subject to a non-notable West Indian cricketer. The version at the moment is the correct version. AssociateAffiliate (talk) 18:17, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- No problem and thanks for the information. Joydeep (talk) 19:12, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Your self-revert
[edit]Did you look at [1]? Looks pretty rubbish to me. Dougweller (talk) 19:02, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
- I accidentally reverted my own revert there. Yes it looks foolish but it was unintended from my part. Joydeep (talk) 19:20, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity
[edit]Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
