Hi, Jowr (talk · contribs) (Dirk? Uncle Al?), of course I agree that Hexenmeister/Androcles exhibits, shall we say, a less than pleasant persona on UseNet, but please be careful not to let him goad you into saying anything which could be construed as a violation of WP:CIV. If we give him some rope, I think he will soon hang himself by setting a world record for the fastest time from initial edit to being permabanned for incivil talk :-/ Cheers---CH 05:39, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Neither. Eric Gisse.
I understand Wikipedia demands, at the very least, a nicer attitude so I will adjust to match.
I just simply won't let Androcles come in here and vandalize a reference I use.
I will remember that Wikipedia is different from USENET.... I will remember that Wikipedia is different from USENET.... I will remember that Wikipedia is different from USENET....

- Thanks, this is really important! ---CH 04:29, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Eric, please try harder to be civil. Might I suggest that there is nothing to be gained by letting Hexenmeister drag you down to his level?
Examples: on User talk:Der alte Hexenmeister you wrote
- "I came because of the vandalism but I stayed for the show." This suggests that you find WP's cruft control problems amusing. I do not and I do not find this kind of comment helpful.
- "You are not honest." and "rather than show other people's stupidity, you show your own." Please avoid this kind of comment; see WP:NPA. Please note that whether or not someone is honest or not is not the issue: the point is that calling someone a liar is not acceptable in WP.
- "Don't bother removing it again, I'll just put it back." Don't do that, that would be [[Wikipedia:Edit war
|edit warring]], which is not acceptable. Instead, you can keep a record of your comments in your own user space, e.g. here. This is frustating because I thought we had cleared this up some days ago. If you are rude this will only confuse the issues in the RfC.---CH 04:38, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
I guess it is time to be quiet.
