Hey there! I've noticed that you've added a fan site to a couple pages to cite the viewership data. Since it is a fan site, that information is not considered reliable. Basically, we need a citation with editorial over-site to add something like that in. Check this out for more info! Just thought I'd give you the heads up; hope you keep editing! Thanks.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 23:19, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! Thanks for the response. The issue with the reference is that it is aggregated from a fan site, which is a self-published website with no way for us (Wikipedia editors) to fact-check if they are right. While the numbers they give do seem to be accurate, we need something of a little more higher quality to use in the articles, like a newspaper or a press release. It is unfortunate that seasons 8 and 9 don't have many of the numbers available, but since all of those articles are good articles, we need to find high quality sources to go with the high quality articles. I hope that makes sense.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 03:41, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sex symbol, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nancy Wilson. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:16, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Sting (musician). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Acroterion (talk) 00:15, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Sting (musician) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Acroterion (talk) 00:16, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Keith Richards. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Spike Wilbury (talk) 11:55, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Keith Richards. Mlpearc (open channel) 17:01, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Checkuser needed

So I took a look at this, and 2A03:2880::/32 is blocked both locally and globally. I'm not sure why one of these blocks is affecting you, seeing as both the local and global block are anon-only. Could another checkuser take a look at this and make sure I'm not missing something here? Ks0stm Perhaps in addition to the rangeblock you've noted there is also a block on one of the IPs/clients in the XFF header? Regardless, Josue10rfu15 is not the target of the block so it may be easiest to just grant them IPBE. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:51, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this userright to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Ks0stm (TCGE)  If you reply here, please ping me by using {{re|Ks0stm}} in your reply.  17:54, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

IPBE expiring - March 2019

[edit]

Hello Josue10rfu15, I'm working on some routine cleanup and see you have not made use of the ip block exemption flag on your account for over a year. This will be removed in about a week, unless you reply below that you still have a need for this flag. This will have no impact on your ability to read Wikipedia. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 12:49, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. As your account has been inactive for a year and there was no reply above, this flag has been removed. This will have no impact on general editing, however if you are trying to edit from certain blocked IP addresses you may need to move to another address or request a new exemption. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 20:56, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
