EggOfReason: thank you! I had an account on Wikipedia but have forgotten much. The list of links in your post will help get me set up again. As I'm American, not surprisingly I tend to edit using American English. Spelling is the obvious difference, but there are phrasing differences between all the variations of English.

I'll see what I can do. It looks to be in decent shape, save some punctuation errors; was there something specific you wanted me to do? On the plus side, I do appreciate the use of dates; it's easy for an acculturated Westerner to forget that NO not everyone begins their count of years at the same event.

Meaning the dates? The Gregorian calendar (the one in which the year is now 2019) is but one of several; I'm assuming that the alternate dates in the Amir Kabir article are referring to the Islamic calendar?

Aha...some of them yes, is referring to Gregorian calendar such as dates of his birth and death but some of them such as this sentence "Amir Kabir returned to Tabriz in 1263/1847", 1263 refers to Solar Hijri calendar. Am I clear?Saff V. (talk) 11:08, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
