Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 20:25, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Phil goldenberg
[edit]A tag has been placed on Phil goldenberg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Altosax456 20:46, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive content to Wikipedia, as you did to United States. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. DarkAudit 02:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Jupiter, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Cyktsui 02:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.Signaturebrendel 02:42, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Your recent edit to Wingmakers (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Your contributed article, Overweight cats
[edit]Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Overweight cats. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Cat. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Cat - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. PrincessofLlyr royal court 03:07, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
re Overweight cats
[edit]Did you write this? Funny! As you probably know, we can't keep stuff like this... anyway, you write well. Would you be interested in contributing to Wikipedia? It can be fun, actually. If not, you might want to try Uncyclopedia (I write over there as well.) Any questions, message me. Herostratus (talk) 06:44, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- If you have anything useful to say on this subject, add it to the cat article. A redirect at overweight cat would be acceptable. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:21, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
