[edit]Hi. Did you make those circle diagrams in "Comparison of Popular Sleep Patterns" in Polyphasic sleep? They are illustrative, but I think one is missing. Many experts, including Dr. Mednick, mean that a biphasic pattern may be the most natural for adult humans. That would mean about 7 hours at night + 1 hour about 7 hours after awakening, a "Siesta model". If you're the creator of those images, perhaps you could add such a one? - Hordaland (talk) 19:17, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, that was quick service! That should now cover the regular ones, by which I mean those that are identical from day to day. I've read that in some so-called primitive societies, sleeping schedules vary from one to many naps according to the day's agenda. Those wouldn't fit. Neither would the variable "nodding off" habits of some very old people.
- I've changed the spacing to make clear which heading belongs to which image. Couldn't quite make it symmetrical, but it's better, I think. - Hordaland (talk) 21:18, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
