Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. --cesarb 23:59, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Testing

[edit]

Dear Jordskjelv, although I see that you have reverted your own testing, please be aware that such infantilities will stick with your history and may put your name on the watchlist of many contributors. I look forward to seeing your valuable contributions at Wikipedia. --Eddi (Talk) 01:49, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I was childish yes, very childish. I have one question, someone edited the great sumatral fault article I wrote, putting stub in, I can just copy the way you have done it right? Cause I am Still trying to learn yeah. But I will try the sandbox before posting in the beginning. Thanks for help :) Are you guys some kind of moderators? Actually I am surprised someone noticed my childish postings. Anyway, thanks :) Jordskjelv
I forgot to mention the Wikipedia:Sandbox, yes. You may also keep your own User:Jordskjelv/Sandbox or any other user subpage, which will be practically unwatched if not actively advertised. --Eddi (Talk) 02:56, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes

[edit]

Hi Jordskjelv!

Go to Wikipedia:Userboxes and scroll down to the bottom. There you'll find loads of categories to choose from. However some of the userboxes I use have been deleted from the userboxes page and substituted by formatting text. If you want to use those, click "edit this page" on my userpage so you can see my source code. From there you can copy all of the boxes you want, most of the names are self-explanatory. Hope this helps, I'm rambling a bit atm ;) --NorkNork 22:32, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
