You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kingdom of Sardinia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:26, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see you also appear to be engaged in an edit war on Kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica. Please stop. If you have a disagreement about content with another editor, please discuss it on the appropriate article's Talk page and try to achieve a consensus. Citation

[edit]

"Duchy of Aosta was simply a province of the Principality of Piedmont since the 16 th century"

Can you source this statement? Storrs, in War, diplomacy and the rise of Savoy, seems to dispute it. Srnec (talk) 21:45, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sardinia

[edit]

Please don't voice to me your objections on the protected version of the article: I did not check the state in which the article was when I protected it beyond ensuring that there wasn't blatant vandalism involved. Whether I protected it the way you liked it or the way your opponents liked it, I knew that someone would see it as the wrong version, since there are no reports of a sysop ever having protected the right version in an edit war. Anyway, you should be aware that the page is not fully protected: it is only semiprotected, and autoconfirmed users (which includes you) are still able to edit it. Hi. When you recently edited Kingdom of Sicily under Savoy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Treaty of The Hague (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. DeCausa (talk) 19:16, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Since edit warring on this article has been going on for some time, those editors who have most often been involved in reverting have been banned from continuing to edit it. This act impacts your account as well as two others and a group of IPs. More information can be seen at the administrators' noticeboard listing (permanent link). Of course, it does not prevent your editing the talk page to join in consensus discussions about the development of the article. As time goes on and editors engage in dispute resolution without additional problems, this restriction may be lifted. It is not meant to endorse any particular version of the article, but only to avoid continuous overriding of content, which is an inappropriate means of resolving disputes. If the problem continues, the next step may be to block editors involved or shut down the article for further editing. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:27, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
