Content regarding active political candidates

[edit]

I am not an admin, but I know something of the rules. An admin cannot on his/her own block an editor who has added verifiable sourced content to an article on the basis of that content being inflammatory. Any admin who would do so would themselves be subject to having their admin priveleges lost. Also, preventing the inclusion of such information would potentially be itself a specific violation of the rules of wikipedia. Having said all that, I tend to agree that the content on the Giuliani page, and presumably elsewhere as well, is more than a little problematic. Probably the best place to go to seek help with this would be the Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Politics and government group, as the editors there are in the best position and are hopefully best informed on the subject and what reasonably should and should not be included in articles relating to current candidates. I removed trolling

[edit]

Re:[1]

It was a non-value added discussion that is a function of your annoyance at what was included in the Giuliani article and your expanding that content dispute to the other candidates' articles is little more than trolling. Just because you aren't getting things your way on the Giuliani article, does not mean you can disrupt the other candidates' articles. As far as removing Tvoz's and Italiavivi's comments, they were basically calling you a sockpuppet and after having edited with them for several months, I wager they don't give a crap that I removed their comments. --Bobblehead (rants) 23:45, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
