Merge request
[edit]Re.: tenosynovial giant cell tumor
If I read this request properly, you seem to be looking to populate a stand-alone article about Tenosynovial giant cell tumor. If I have that correct, then there really isn't a merge required, just a need to write the article. That can be done at the redirect entitled "tenosynovial giant cell tumor".
If some merging of materials from the other two articles are required to do that, however, then attribution needs to be maintained when lifting the materials out of the other articles. If there are identical materials in the two exiting articles that could be merged into one over-arching article, that may also be a way to go forward. Each of the three titles would then have a sub-section in the finished, merged article. Let me know. Regards, GenQuest "Talk to Me" 01:16, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
A beer for you!
[edit]Thank you for following our COI procedures. I deal with a fair amount of COI editors and only a seemingly miniscule percentage of them bother to disclose and follow our procedures. It is much appreciated, so thank you! Marquardtika (talk) 04:08, 2 July 2019 (UTC) |
@Marquardtika: Many thanks! Jon Gray (talk) 14:19, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
Added the paid template to Everett Eissenstat
[edit]Hi Jon! Just to give you a head's up, I added the paid template to the talk page of Everett Eissenstat earlier today. You correctly disclosed your paid status in your request, which I greatly appreciate, but wanted to be sure the template was on the page as well (in case the discussion gets archived). I see another editor has come by and made the requested edits. See you around! Orvilletalk 05:13, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
@Orville: Sounds good, thanks! Jon Gray (talk) 14:17, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Looking at the talk page Talk:Mary_Barra I find that your work is very professional. I particularly like your own "User page" which make your own and your firm's interests quite clear. Certainly a breath fresh air and hopefully a model for other PR firms.
Oh, I added Mary Barra's induction, as an engineering undergraduate student, into the Tau Beta Pi honor society. Also I added her 2018 election to the National Academy of Engineering. Both are prestigious and earned through personal accomplishments.
Stay safe! Lent (talk) 09:17, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
@Lent: I appreciate that very much, thank you! Hope you and yours are staying safe as well. Jon Gray (talk) 00:38, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Aranya. I noticed that in this edit to Talk:AT&T, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Aranya (talk) 13:55, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Aranya: Good morning - yes, I deleted an edit request I previously posted as I was told it was too long. My intention this morning, and what I will do shortly, is repost an abbreviated version of the edit request in the hopes it will be reviewed. I see the previous edit request was restored, which is no problem. I'll go ahead and post the abbreviated edit request after that one now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Jon Gray (talk) 13:58, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Jon, hope your morning is going well. We usually don't remove or replace old requests now that they've been replied to, since discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion. Your plan sounds great - thanks for taking the time to follow through with Wikipedia's policies on COI editing. Aranya (talk) 14:12, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Aranya: Totally understand and will definitely bear that in mind moving forward. Thanks for letting me know! Jon Gray (talk) 14:15, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- Jon, on Talk Pages, don't remove anything but vandalism. Instead, use the strike-through option (or code combo of: <s> </s>: bracketing the content you desire to strike). Happy editing. GenQuest "scribble" 14:17, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @GenQuest: Appreciate that tip - I'll implement that as well on the old request. Jon Gray (talk) 17:03, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
