The article Emma Ridley has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Removing Speedy at Emma Ridely
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Emma Ridely, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Emma Ridely
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Emma Ridely requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. From the above it appears that this page may have been previously deleted. FrankFlanagan (talk) 21:59, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Emma Ridley do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to her business is not appropriate since the article is not about her business Noformation Talk 22:54, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
COI and NPOV
[edit]I have some concerns regarding your editing. Wikipedia is not to be used in order to add sensationalist and titillating information and gossip about living persons. In fact, the information you are adding is clearly not neutral and in many cases unsourced or poorly sourced. In addition, you appear to be editing in a manner to promote Sean Borg - if you are at all affiliated with Borg, you have a conflict of interest and should not be creating articles about him nor promoting him in other articles. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 15:46, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Final warning - if you continue to add unsourced and promotional material to any article, including Sean Borg, you will be blocked from editing in order to give you the opportunity to review our policies on verifiability and biographies of living persons. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:47, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sean Borg for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. elektrikSHOOS (talk) 11:14, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
