I didn't delete the main article on HoneyRock, just some redirects that led nowhere after the main article was deleted. User:RHaworth deleted the main article under speedy deletion category g11:
"Blatant advertising. Pages which exclusively promote a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Note that simply having a company, product, group or service as its subject does not qualify an article for this criterion."

HoneyRock Deleted
[edit]Just wondering why the article on HoneyRock, the Northwoods Campus of Wheaton College (IL) was deleted by you. It is a very similar listing to several other camps, organizations, and schools that have articles on them. Can you explain this further please or provide suggestions on re-writing? Thanks for your time. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Johnv15 (talk • contribs) 16:04, 13 December 2006 (UTC).
- In fact I did not really delete it either! Deletions happened as part of an history merge. But I restored all the edits and marked the article {{db-spam}}. Cuivienen actually deleted it properly.
- On reflection I may have been a bit harsh but I was justifiably annoyed at seeing the article posted four times (learn about #redirect). I suggest you: re-write the article at User:Johnv15/sandbox in a more encyclopedic tone; include at least one 3rd party reference to the camp; raise the matter at deletion review. -- RHaworth 16:20, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
