Edit warring at New Glarus, Wisconsin
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on New Glarus, Wisconsin. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. 32.218.40.247 (talk) 16:39, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
False assertion in edit summary for New Glarus, Wisconsin
[edit] Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page New Glarus, Wisconsin has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you.
If you look at the Talk section you will see that this item has been discussed ad nausem. Any change is contradictory to what was previously decided. What is not a historical event in say New York can be in a small town. Um, no. The talk page history shows opposition to including this non-notable event in the article, with the only support coming from you. 32.218.40.247 (talk) 18:09, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. 32.218.40.247 (talk) 18:24, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
