Question (Old PA Route maps)

I have a question. I noticed for the one article you edited that you were using a map like this one as a reference to an article that had its route in a previous area. At what intervials do the maps go? Do they go 1930, 1931, 1932, and so on, or is it just 1930, 1940, 1950, and so on, or is it just different years that are done?

Thanks for the help :) Whammies Were Here 22:07, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Depends on the map. State maps start at 1930s, then 1940s, 1950s until 1989. Old county maps have different dates. This link has a full list of old statewide and county maps. Click on "Historic Transportation Maps (5.5-8 MB)" for the old statewide maps and "Historic County Type 10 Maps (2-11.4MB)" for old county maps. I hope this helps. -- JA10 TalkContribs 22:18, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Helps a bunch. Thanks :D Whammies Were Here 22:20, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Minor PA Route question

A question about the minor routes page you just created. Will the critera of a route being minor be objective, or does the route have to be under a certain distance? Ill try and help out with getting the minor routes I created onto the page. Whammies Were Here 10:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Depends on the route. For example, PA 222 would never make the list because it has a ton of history and a route description with much to say. But, PA 618 has to be in the list, because its a short rural road with not much to say. It's all about common sense. -- JA10 TalkContribs 20:54, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

USRD Inactivity check and news report

Hello, JohnnyAlbert10. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:

  1. Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
  2. There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 23:22, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Joe A. Gonsalves Memorial Interchange

Why you vote for the article to be delete? Shouldn't Sadao S. Munemori Memorial Interchange also be delete because I-105 article covers most of it and I notice Wikipedia is not a travel guide. Freewayguy--Let me know what's up? 23:29, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

For many reason. Number one, it's stubby (short article). Number 2, it has no references. Number 3, it doesn't look very notable to me. -- JA10 TalkContribs 23:31, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Then how to delete a page. I am going to do it to Sadao S. Mnemoiri Interchange too because the article is too stubby and makes little sense. Freewayguy--Let me know what's up 23:38, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

You don't need to delete it, since it has been redirected. -- JA10 TalkContribs 23:40, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
