This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of British Executive Study Tours, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.bestenglishstudy.com/index.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:05, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of British Executive Study Tours
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on British Executive Study Tours requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:23, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from British Executive Study Tours, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:23, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with British Executive Study Tours. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:24, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
British Executive Study Tours
[edit]You said:
“ | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bellerbys_College
Bellerbys College has a page, why shouldn't British Executive Study Tours also have a page? Private companies like Tesla Motors, google etc etc all have pages. Why would British Executive Study Tours be rejected when they are not? Also it should be noted that British Executive Study Tours is not a language school. Also please explain in detail why it is marked for speedy deletion so that I can correct any problems. This is my very first wikipedia entry. |
” |
It was deleted because the entry gave no indication as to why the entry may be notable, which is a requirement for inclusion in Wikipedia. Not every company or person is notable enough to be included here. To use your example, Bellerbys has been mentioned in newspaper articles which tend to be reliable sources and give at least some indication that the college is notable. You should read How to create your first article and follow the links there to get an idea of what's required for an article. If you have any further questions you can ask them on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. VernoWhitney (talk) 00:44, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
