[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to VCY America, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- The following is the log entry regarding this warning: VCY America was changed by John Redding22 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.949656 on 2011-05-24T23:32:38+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:32, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did at VCY America with this edit. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you, Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:33, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Please do not attack other contributors, as you did with this edit to VCY America. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
First, I'm sorry I was selecting the wrong thing. It wasn't an attack on another user, but it was a personal attack on Vic Eliason. Please remember to follow the rules for biographies of living people. Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:42, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Removing Your Warnings
[edit]Please read this section from Wikipedia:Removing warnings, "Removing warnings for vandalism from one's talk page is also considered vandalism. However, after a reasonable time has elapsed, archiving one's talk page, including the vandal warning, is acceptable. Editors may be subject to a minor block for archiving prematurely so as to hide warnings." Thank you Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:42, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, JamesBWatson also informed me that I was incorrect in my information given to you. Feel free to remove the warnings or archive them. Ryan Vesey (talk) 13:42, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Point taken. I'll keep it constructive from now on. Was having a bit of fun with that article. But I'll keep it reasonable from now on. Thx. John Redding22 (talk) 23:48, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, and have fun editing Wikipedia. I will also be attaching a welcome message with information that can help you edit wikipedia. Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:52, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually, Wikipedia:Removing warnings was a proposal that failed to gain acceptance, and has been marked "This page is currently inactive and is retained for historical reference" since 2006. The current guideline on this question is at Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#User talk pages, and it says that you may remove warnings once you have seen and read them, though archiving is preferred. Userboxes
[edit]The boxes on my page are called Userboxes. You can find more information about them on this page. Copy the corresponding template for the Userboxes and place them on your userpage. On a side note, it is appropriate to leave users comments on their user talk pages; however, you should not leave your comments on their userpages. Ryan Vesey (talk) 23:52, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for the informtion. Fair enough. :-) John Redding22 (talk) 23:54, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome!

If you have questions
[edit]If you have any more questions related to editing Wikipedia, you can always ask me. I would also suggest that you remove your comment at the top of the page, many users may perceive that as being hostile. Ryan Vesey (talk) 00:25, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view. Please don't add your own commentary or analysis to articles. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:49, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
User page
[edit]I have deleted your user page because of the negatively-biased and derogatory attacking nature of the article represented in the text. I am unaware if it was intentional that the previously vandalized version of the article was the version meant to copied over. If it is your intention to constructively work on the article in your userspace, you can create a sandbox extension such as User:John Redding22/Sandbox or User: John Redding22/any article title that will allow you to edit and practice editing freely. If you have any questions regarding this action or any questions in general feel free to post them either here or at my talk page. Kindly Calmer Waters 01:49, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
