Hi there. "Do not speak English? Click here." would be "No hablas Inglés? Haz clic aquí." A more formal way would be "No habla Inglés? Haga clic aquí." So, it depends whether you want a formal or informal way of saying it. Also "click" has several translations depending on the region, "click" itself, "picar", "pinchar", "clic", etc, so some may ask you to change it. Indeed, there is an opening sign, ¿. Nowadays you don't use it most of the times but yes, you should add it at the beginning of the questions: ¿No hablas inglés? Haz clic aquí. and ¿No habla inglés? Haga clic aquí. We don't use uppercase when referring to languages (contrary to English which uses French, Spanish, etc), so you can do it with lowercase. Thanks for the recommendation, Hexagon. In actual fact, I'd never seen WikiChecker before, and am blown away by it – what a tool! I was coincidentally planning a minor overhaul to the cactions tool, as I haven't given it any attention since I returned in January from my extended wikibreak. You'd need to make the link on 'here' work on the word 'ici'.

Yikes

I've never seen somebody bite a good faith newbie as hard as you did to this poor kid. Firstly, a friendly note saying something like "Hey, don't forget we're here to write an encyclopedia, not to chat and make friends. Blah blah, point to IRC, etc." would have been perfectly fine. Secondly, "You may not remove vandal-warnings from your talk page" is astonishingly wrong-headed. Any user may remove anything they want from their user talk pages (except current block notices), in fact the removal of warnings is proof positive that the user has indeed read the warnings. And making the inference that the user is now a vandal for wanting to talk to people is not the way to go about making people feel welcome. I'm sorry if this seems unduly harsh, but I feel this "if you don't act straight we'll block you" attitude is very harmful to Wikipedia. Remember, don't bite the newbies, assume good faith, and ignore the rules. --Closedmouth (talk) 13:25, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
