Your note on my talk page regarding The Ritz Carlton Residences, Singapore, Cairnhill

Hi John AKM, thanks for your message (by the way, do rememeber to sign your messages, which you do by typing four tildes ~ x 4). The problem for me is that the piece reads like a brochure advertising the property – words/phrases such as: 'freehold luxury', 'amenities offered', 'gourmet kitchen' and 'fully serviced and managed' sound like estate-agent speak. You might find it useful to briefly scan WP:NPOV, which tells you about ensuring a neutral point of view in language. The general rule is to tone down promotional/peacock words and stick to the facts.

If you can find any other references to support, for instance, facts about the architect of the development, the size of the development and so on, that would be helpful and add to the idea that this is an informative article. Bear in mind that Wikipedia doesn't need articles about everything (WP:ISNOT), so the burden is on the article's submitter to prove notability and provide a well researched and well thought out article that people are likely to find useful and comprehensive.

Before you resubmit, ensure you move the Awards paragraph up so that it comes before the references and also tone that down a bit in your description of Property Report ('leading' – says who?, prove it?). Also check your wikilinks. I don't think readers require most of these links (eg, garden, shopping, kitchen, dining) and some are going through to disambiguation pages, which is very unhelpful.
