Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia! Regarding the section you've added ([1], [2]) to the criticism section of Windows Vista. Firstly, the criticism section is supposed to be a summary of main article Criticism of Windows Vista; any criticsm should be added to that article first and only then summarised for the Windows Vista article. Secondly, the paragraph you added did not cite any sources. Adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. (This is especially true when the added material appears to be contradicted by other article's: the sentence "XPDM drivers supported Vista Aero in the beta versions of Windows Vista" appears to be contradicted by the WDDM article, and in any case gives the rather misleading impression that all graphics cards could run Aero in Vista beta, which is obviously untrue). I have removed the paragraphs for now; please feel free to reinsert it (into the Criticism article rather than the main Vista article at first) when you have located some verifiable sources to support the text. If you have any questions about this, please leave a message on the Windows Vista talk page; or if you have any questions for me in particular, my talk page. For general questions, you can type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer them. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia! -- simxp (talk) 22:19, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Digg
[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Digg. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- ReyBrujo 00:05, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
