I hope m doing it right. Just wanted to know why my updates not reflecting in the Guwahati University page?
- Gauhati University (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- I am seeing your updates, though some of your edits have since been adjusted - see the article history for more detail (and Help:Page history if you need help interpreting that history page). Can you be more specific about which part of your edit you can't see? -- John of Reading (talk) 21:50, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
If m not logged in with my username, and search for Guwahati University then I can't see any of the updates done by me or you.
- Ah yes, I'm sorry about that. This is a known problem with the software when an article has an alternative name, a "redirect". If you access the article by searching for the name "Gauhati University" you should avoid the problem. The issue is being discussed here.
- I have "purged" the article and the redirect, which should fix the problem for this page, at least until further edits are made. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:21, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for April 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gauhati High Court, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ajit Singh. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
