- I will ask that you first read over and familiarize yourself with the Admin's reading list and the Admin's how-to guide, linked above. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Happy editing! JW..[ T..C ] 01:24, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Hello Johann, sorry it has been a while, things have been a little hectic for me recently. I have been reading the above material though and found it all quite interesting. Some areas require a little more attention but i believe that I am getting there. What would you recommend me doing from this point onwards? Are there certain things which I should be aware of in the application process? Londonfella (talk) 11:37, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- My apologies for not responding sooner, I too have been extremely busy. When applying for adminship individuals look for tasks completed by the candidate that are related to, or are similar to, what an administrator does on a regular basis. Tasks completed such as: recent changes patrolling, new pages patrolling, and vandalism reversion are useful when applying. Also, even though edit counts are not supposed to be important, having at least a few thousand edits isn't necessarily a bad thing (See here for more info). One more thing, looking through the answers other candidates give to questions pertaining to adminship will help you answer your own; you may want to start thinking about how you'll answer them now. I hope this answers your question, and again I'm sorry for being so late in my response. Best of luck and happy editing! JW..[ T..C ] 01:27, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
