Welcome
[edit]Hello, Joey236 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. We encourage you to read our instructions for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to participate in either the School and University WikiProject or the Global Education Program. The Global Education Program is supported by the Wikimedia Foundation and offers official online and classroom support through the Ambassador Program.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}}
before the question.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 02:05, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Re: How to avoid content deletion
[edit]You should be safe from deletion, as you are editing an existing topic. Make sure your expansions make it clear why the article is notable, and adhere as close as possible to other Wikipedia guidelines and the manual of style. You may want to have me or another experienced editor do a quick review of your article before it is published in the mainspace, to make sure it looks good. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 21:52, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Brick Lane
[edit]I'll certainly try to (though I'm working UK time, so may be a bit out of synch with you). Just leave me a note when something's up, so I don't miss it!
Are you planning to do your changes to a draft (eg at User:D4n2elle/BrickLaneMarket) or to the article itself? Andrew Gray (talk) 08:43, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
- A draft page is definitely best - it gives you peace to work without conflict. Best of luck! Andrew Gray (talk) 14:04, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry I missed your invitation at the time! I have given it some thought and commented at Talk:Truman Markets. I hope you don't mind the fairly big changes that I've suggested; we would still keep most of your work! – Fayenatic London 19:25, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- As nobody commented within a week, I went ahead with the overhaul that I had suggested. Hope you find it's an improvement. Thanks for your work; I hope you will stay and do more! – Fayenatic London 19:52, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
