[edit]Hello, I'm Oxfordwang. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Military career of Adolf Hitler, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Oxfordwang (talk) 23:26, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Joe, thanks for checking on my edit on Frederic Brown but I'm going to revert it. Not that I doubt that Oberst-gruppenführer would technically be correct for a man of Smith's status, but all of the printed sources I've consulted, like here and here, list his rank as Obergruppenführer, which leads me to conclude that for whatever reason the writers decided to leave him at the slightly lower rank. Maybe because he is subordinate to a different Oberst-gruppenführer in Berlin? Hard to say. Cheers, Scriptwriter (talk) 02:48, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
EDIT: Upon further review, the ruling on the field is overturned. I went back and checked the clip and the doctor clearly addresses Smith as "Oberst-gruppenführer" twice. Good catch, and my apologies! Cheers, Scriptwriter (talk)
