Re: WSLK

[edit]

The information I use is taking from FCC finding and maps and maps from Radio-Locator.com which show that the station only serves a small area. While also looking at this map, it shows that what I discribe is close to what you also discribe.

I also need to make you aware that if you work for WSLK Radio, that you technically can't edit your own page. This falls under our conflict of interest section of the rules. Please look over those and the links given and get back to me. - NeutralHomerTalk • April 15, 2009 @ 20:47

Actually, not really accurate -- the WP:Conflict of interest guidelines strongly discourage it, but there's nothing stopping you from making verifiable edits to an article you're involved with.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 21:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been indefinitely blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for making legal threats or taking legal action. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia as long as the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. If you believe that a legal action is warranted, you may contact our information team at info-en@wikimedia.org and they may forward it to our legal counsel or a more appropriate venue. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. SHEFFIELDSTEELTALK 20:55, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify: if you wish to continue editing with this account, then you should contact us to say either that any legal action has concluded (if appropriate), or that it was not your intent to threaten legal action (if this was a misunderstanding or a mistake of some kind). Either way, you can use email or an unblock request (as described above) to communicate with us. Our "No legal threats" policy (and please do click the link and read it) is designed to safeguard everyone involved, and to keep content disputes and legal issues separate whenever possible. Thanks for your understanding. SHEFFIELDSTEELTALK 23:07, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

We had already agreed not to pursue legal actions after Ryan stepped in and resolved our problem. Even after Neutralhomer went back in and started reverting the edits again, we made no further threats, even though we were unaware of this policy. We have no intention of pursuing any legal action

Decline reason:

Abusing multiple accounts, and trying to evade your block? I don't think so. Kanonkas :  Talk  14:04, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
