Maintenance tags

Please do not remove maintenance tags unless you've addressed the issues mentioned. The article needs cleanup to comply with manual of style recommendations (the ALL CAPS in particular), it needs to have appropriate wikilinks added, and most importantly, it needs additional sources independent of the subject for biographical verification. In reply to your question, biographical articles must be supported by sources independent of the subject: self-sourcing is generally discouraged because most people aren't very objective about themselves, which makes for bad encyclopedia entries. See WP:RS, WP:V and WP:BLP. WP:SELFPUB is of note here: I'm sure the information is accurate, but other sources would be better. Please find independent reliable sources to support the article; this is crucial. Otherwise, please make the all-caps entries read as normal text, and where you can link to another article (such as Seinfeld) you can put double square brackets on either side of the first instance of the words you want linked. If you can do those things, it would be great - I'll be glad to help, but will be going to bed shortly, so I must sign off. I've looked over the article, and you've done a great job. I'll see if I can tidy some of the references so they're not bare URLs. There are a few quibbles: you should probably adopt a more deadpan (i.e. dull), encyclopedic style ("renowned" isn't commonly seen in encyclopedias), but I think it's excellent work for a first article in such a user-unfriendly interface as Wikipedia. If you can find a published reference to birth date and birthplace, that'd be great: I didn't see it in the Times link (and I know that you know what it is), but it's nice to have a published reference. Also, Seinfeld Scripts is, like Wikipedia, a self-published source, and should be avoided in favor of sources with more editorial oversight. Acroterion (talk) 01:43, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
