Unspecified source for Image:Bosmina.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bosmina.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:24, 20 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 00:24, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your efforts to rewrite the content you added to Twenty one (dice game), but I'm afraid that the rewrite was not usable. More information is at Talk:Twenty one (dice game). If you have questions about this, or about copyright policy on Wikipedia, please feel free to drop by my talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:30, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Twenty one (dice game) for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Twenty one (dice game), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Twenty one (dice game) until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Sottolacqua (talk) 18:21, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dainius Adomaitis has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi, please be careful with copy & paste -- you forget to change dates of birth, locations, teams, etc. Renata (talk) 12:16, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your help is needed!

[edit]

Hi there :) I just want to let you know that your help would be appreciated to finish translations in Lithuanian for MediaWiki's VisualEditor software. The current progress is 48%, and VE will reach lt.wikipedia in less than a week (Jan 13th). Also, if you feel like you want to walk an extra mile, please check if this language needs further help with the tasks listed at MediaWiki. For example, the User Guide is 25% complete, while sadly there's no Lithuanian Portal for VE. I know you can change this! Thanks, and happy 2014! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 20:37, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
