Hi @Ian (Wiki Ed), I'm trying to find the assignment I completed for Week 3 (Evaluate Wikipedia) where I analyzed a Wikipedia article on September 18th. It was a lot of work and I can't seem to find it anymore. As I was looking for it, I also accidentally unclicked the Mark Complete box and then re-clicked it. Is there a way for me to find my article review that I completed for the Week 3 exercise? Thanks for your help. Jlearner022 (talk) 00:02, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Jlearner022. Your work is here: User:Jlearner022/Evaluate an Article. You can always find your work by clicking on "Contributions", which will either be at the top right of every page on Wikipedia, or in a drop-down under a down arrow at the top right of the page. (Wikipedia is currently transitioning to a new "skin", and I'm not sure whether you have the old one or the new one). Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:24, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ian (Wiki Ed), that was very helpful. Thank you! Jlearner022 (talk) 22:25, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Ian (Wiki Ed), I have a question about pictures. If I took a picture of something I have, could there still be concerns about plagiarism or copyright infringements? For example, I'm working on expanding a coffee article and I have a brand of coffee at home. Would it be a problem is I took a picture of it to post on the article if it contains a company logo? Also, I might be looking at supplementing an article from a high school. If I can take a picture of the school crest, can I then post it or do all images need to be found online? Thank you! Hello again @Ian (Wiki Ed), I just answered my own questions by completing my training module about adding images. I now understand that I cannot simply take a picture that contains artwork or a logo but that I can take a picture of a landscape. Thanks anyways!
