Thanks for your work on the Lowell, Massachusetts article! Since you haven't filled out your user page yet, I was wondering who you are. CSZero (talk) 13:38, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You do great work : You really have to tell me who you are IRL ;-) CSZero (talk) 02:15, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good work in the Evered article. I've added an infobox for people, maybe you can continue adding some more information as apppropriate.--Mike Cline (talk) 15:53, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading Pics

[edit]

...the picture thing: Go to http://commons.wikimedia.org and set up an account there. Log in, and there is an "upload file" link on the left. Click that, upload a well-named file (Not DSC0001.jpg, more like SacredHeartLowellMA.jpg). Select an appropriate license (usually the default Creative Commons one unless it's in the public domain). Come back to Wikipedia, find an article with a picture format you like, "edit this page" to view the source. Copy the relevant picture code into the page you want to actually edit, and then just change the "file:" parameter to be the image you uploaded on Wikimedia Commons - there is nothing special needed to do to link cross-wiki - and that should do it. Happy editing, CSZero (talk) 21:20, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You and User:DKqwerty are (slowly) edit warring over this article, as you know, with considerable changes to it back and forth, over and over. I wish you would both discuss your issues on the talk page there instead of doing it only in your edit summaries. Cordially, SergeWoodzing (talk) 17:18, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 20:13, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited 86 (term), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Logistic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, I see you edited the Linder article to add a piece of information about Linder's family. Unfortunately your citation does not yet have either a page number or a weblink to the original source. Do what you can on this or I may be forced to delete the edit. Bigturtle (talk) 20:25, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adrianne Wadewitz Memorial edit-a-thons

[edit]
Adrianne Wadewitz edit-a-thons in Southern New England

As you may have already heard, the Wikipedia community lost an invaluable member of the community last month. Adrianne Wadewitz was a feminist scholar of 18th-Century British literature, and a prolific editor of the site. As part of a worldwide series of tributes, New England Wikimedians, in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning, have created three edit-a-thons that will be occurring in May and June. The events are as follows:

We hope that you will be able to join us, whether you are an experienced editor or are using Wikipedia for the first time.

If you have any questions, please leave a message at Kevin Rutherford's talk page. You can unsubscribe from future notifications for Boston-area events by removing your name from this list.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
