A tag has been placed on Tai Marie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Can you please tell me why you deleted my page? It included a citation source.Jjigga3000 (talk) 21:56, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the article Tai Marie you created per WP:A7. I noticed on the Talk page that you kept referring to "we". Who is "we"? --Bbb23 (talk) 21:28, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You must answer my question.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:51, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We is the tech staff at my record Label. Tai Marie is an artist on our label. I have a wiki page as well Jon-John Robinson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon-John_Robinson. I'm just now sure why you need to know who WE are, and why it matters. I also want to know why the page was deleted. We included a citation to prove who she is. Lastly pease do not take my questions as confrontation this is something I want answered so we don't make this mistake again. Jjigga3000 (talk) 00:04, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The only reference you had included in that article was not a reliable source, and besides, just one source is generally not enough to demonstrate notability.
It is also highly discouraged to make or edit articles that you are personally involved in, as described in WP:COI. In your case, since the person is a client, it may be even worse. PopoDameron (talk) 00:11, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have plenty of citations for her and had just started the page. I am not a programmer, also Tai Marie is not a client she's my daughter and we both own the label along with my wife. also tell me how the the article I used as a citations was not a reliable source. The site that wrote that blog is in no way affiliated with us. Citations are used for relevance and to validate a statement if I'm not mistaken. I also think you reporting and having my account blocked is a little bit overboard. Jjigga3000 (talk) 01:38, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It was definitely not a reliable site, but sources aside, you were writing that article to promote your daughter's music, weren't you? That's just not allowed on Wikipedia. Read WP:TOU, WP:SPAM, and WP:COI for more information about this. PopoDameron (talk) 01:45, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You sir are making assumptions. Tell me how making a wiki site is promoting music when no music was yet mentioned or posted. AAANNDD might I add if she's an artist why wouldn't it list her work? She's not only a recording artist she's also an established graphic artist. For promoting her work as an artist we pay promoters to do. No one goes to Wikipedia to listen to music they use Wikipedia to find information about things they like. Also, might I add you stating whether or not it's a reliable site is an assumption on your part. The website I used is a blog that does write-ups on artists. She has write-ups on other blogs as well. They get the information from Press Releases and if they wanna do a write up they will contact you for more info. I'm not trying to argue but protect my integrity as a person. Jjigga3000 (talk) 01:54, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
To address your main question about why she isn't notable enough to be listed here, see WP:MUSIC and WP:N. There are twelve possible criteria that an artist must meet at least one of, and she does not meet any. PopoDameron (talk) 02:02, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
Bbb23 (talk) 00:20, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Blocking my account is not necessary. COI is also a ridiculous excuse in my opinion and how are you to determine the thousands of wiki pages that have been created were not done by people who know the people their making the page for. Especially when it comes to record labels who make wiki pages for their clients who are artist. They make the pages so that people can know a little bit more about the artist. I've read the terms but in this case we have a business together. There is no compensation involved Tai Marie (Tyler Robinson) is my daughter and I help her with her career. She has released 9 songs through our label AMG Records which is distributed through Symphonic Distribution. We are most definitely trying to deceive anyone. We understand that this is a community based on trust. And that is what we are trying to maintain. Truth and honesty Jjigga3000 (talk) 01:46, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You talk about "record labels who make wiki pages for their clients who are artists," but I'm telling you that that is particularly not allowed here. From WP:SPAM:

Wikipedia is not a space for personal promotion or the promotion of products, services, web sites, fandoms, ideologies, or memes. If you are here to tell readers how great something is, or to get exposure for an idea or product that nobody has heard of yet, you are in the wrong place.

PopoDameron (talk) 01:54, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again we are not advertising. What did we advertise, the only thing that was listed was who she was and where she was born. We hadn't even finished the website. Again we are not promoting anything. We are merely doing as any other Recording artist would do state the facts The Who What When Where and Why's. Artists don't get exposure from Wikipedia. And people have heard of my daughter. Maybe you haven't but others have. She has over 200k streams over All digital platforms and while that is not earth-shattering by any means people are listing to her. And people do know who she is. She is not a meme she is an actual person. Again tell me where I was trying to promote in fact prove that I was trying to promote a product, person, website, or meme. Show me how what was actually published would make anyone interested in her. I don't know what your position is but I do know it is an abuse of power. Jjigga3000 (talk) 02:01, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
you also stated that record labels aren't allowed to that for clients? They do it all the time. I used to work for a record label. They buy everything. Jjigga3000 (talk) 02:03, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
