When I looked at the Wikipedia page of birthright citizenship, it was inspiring to figure out the word "naturalization" that refers to an acquisition of U.S. citizenship in other ways other than birthright citizenship. Therefore, I searched the term naturalization on Wikipedia and learned that it is the "legal act or process by which a non-citizen in a country may acquire citizenship". It makes me realize that a person who is granted birthright citizenship is not an immigrant.
Also, on the talk page of birthright citizenship, I learned the significance of using a reliable source. Challijr pointed out that the term Jus sanguinis is not applicable in the U.S. with a bunch of evidence. However, as Jc3s5h later pointed out that those cited sourced are biased. one of them even has nothing to do with birthright citizenship. As biased as those resources are, Challijr's point suddenly seems unconvincing. Jc3s5h also mentions that if Challijr want to make up another point of view, he must mention this to readers in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jingyitinali (talk • contribs) 06:55, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
