Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, JimrobertseConsult. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page eConsult, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Philafrenzy (talk) 20:49, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to EConsult. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 10:49, 20 September 2019 (UTC) Hi Cahk, I have been trying to get very outdated information updated on eConsult Health for sometime now. Another user had been helping, but has not replied for the past 11 months. I am very happy to work with users to get the information updated, but it is currently completely incorrect. For example, we have gone through two investment funding rounds ([1]). I provided a full list of resources from scientific journals, news articles etc. Are you able to help me with this? Thank you, JimrobertseConsult (talk) 15:22, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Question
[edit]Hello JimrobertseConsult, I recently started following your requests for edits to the E-Consult article. I viewed them as mostly promotional and, on the whole, not acceptable for Wikipedia. After evaluating your sources in the last request for independence and reliability and the notability, however, I think that portions of the request could be added to the article to update its content. If you would like to collaborate on an update, I will work with you, provided that you are willing to defer to my judgement about which portions of the current article and of your requested revision are suitable for inclusion. I would only add/keep content that comes from reliable sources, is not promotional, is notable and is balanced (in the sense that it includes both favorable and unfavorable material that is out there in reliable sources. My question is, "Why do you think that the E-Consult product belongs on a separate page, in stead of on the Hurley Group page?"BiostatSci (talk) 20:34, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hello BiostatSci, I am very happy to work with you. The reason a seperate page is needed is because they are now completely seperate. eConsult Health Limited, came out of the Hurley Group, but is now a completely different business that also has multiple products, eConsult and eTriage. Alongside this, especially with the current COVID situation we are a far bigger company. The page currently references 479 GP practices. eConsult is currently live in over 3100.JimrobertseConsult (talk) 15:16, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
JimrobertseConsult, OK. I will review the references again and list the ones that I think meet the criteria of a "reliable source" and will add others that I find in the process. If you have others, we can discuss them, then start building an article around those that meet criteria (See the Wikipedia help pages WP:RS and WP:Verifiability). This will take a while, so please be patient. BiostatSci (talk) 18:03, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
BiostatSci Hi, Thank you for this. We have more sources that I think would be useful: https://pressat.co.uk/releases/public-policy-projects-and-tech4cv19-launch-a-digital-white-paper-at-the-conservative-party-conference-4ab129692b1e02c725c9560a20e39787/ (p10) and https://www2.deloitte.com/uk/en/pages/life-sciences-and-healthcare/articles/realising-digital-first-primary-care.html (p12-14, 30). Let me know what else I can do to help this process. JimrobertseConsult (talk) 12:27, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Hi JimrobertseConsult, I left a message for you on the eConsult talk page. Tried to make sure that you received an alert that it is there for you, but I don't know whether it reached you or not. I have some time now, if you want to procede with the update to the eConsult page. You indicated that there are even more updates to be considered since we communicated last. Does that mean that I should hold off on reviewing your previous request for edits until you communicate the newest request, or can I start evaluating your previous references and start revising while you are writing up the newest request? Again, I apologize for taking so long to get back to you about this. I've had a very busy last few months. BiostatSci (talk) 05:56, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
BiostatSci Absolutely no problem, sorry I have been slow to respond. I would be more than happy for you to proceed. The only real things that have changed since I sent over the information is number of live practices and hospitals using our products. I can provide this to you directly, but we as a company would be the source. Is this okay? I have time over the next few weeks to assist with any further references you might need. Thank you JimrobertseConsult (talk) 17:00, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi BiostatSci, Have you had some time to look over this. It would be great to get some of this information updated as it is getting further out of date. I can provide updated information on this. For example, there has been another round of investment. Information about this can be found here: Cite error: There are <ref>
tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).https://www.businessleader.co.uk/econsult-health-attracts-7m-new-investment/109644/Cite error: There are <ref>
tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). I can make time whenever for this. JimrobertseConsult (talk)JimrobertseConsult (talk) 15:18, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
