Welcome Jones555

[edit]
Hi there Jones555. Welcome to Wikipedia, its always good to see new users. When you get a chance, drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself! You might also like to put a short introduction on your user page so that other wikipedians can get to know you.
Hey, I see you are a fairly long time wikipedian but you still deserve a welcome message. That first article looks good! Keep up the good work.

You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp.. Signing your name is important on talk pages because it helps people get in touch with you. Also remember to indent each of your comments using : so that other users can follow the flow of discussions

As well as editing wikipedia you could also think about taking part in many other essential activities that make wikipedia a friendly place. For example you could welcome new users to wikipedia (for this you are could use my welcome templates here) or you could try mediating discussions between other users. There are loads of other options at the Wikipedia:Community Portal.
Some links to get you started in the community:
  • The new users Welcome page is a good place to start.
  • Wikipedia:Help has a broad range of general help topics you may find useful.

If you have any questions or just want to chat then leave a message on my talk page and I'll answer as soon as possible. Happy editing, Tmorton166 (Errant Emote) talk 19:06, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This personalised welcome message was created to follow my own policy on welcoming users. I hope that many others will adopt these common sense ideas. Add your support here

Fair use rationale for Image:Kaleidoplex.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kaleidoplex.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:05, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Kaleidoplex

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kaleidoplex, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No independent evidence given of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
