AfD nomination of Bifranchise
[edit]I have nominated Bifranchise, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bifranchise. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. BiFranchise
[edit]Hiya. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - for some reason my Talk link is redirecting to a subpage that doesn't notify me of new messages (odd).
To be brief: My main concern with the BiFranchise article isn't so much the promotional aspect (in all honesty, the originator probably would deserve mention, just as we mention Sigmund Freud in psychoanalytic theory) as it is the evident non-notability of the term. As I said on the AfD, a Google search returns exactly one result (and that result leads to a pretty incoherant webpage). It seems to me that a truly notable school of thought would at least be mentioned in passing on a few dozen (if not a few thousand) webpages and/or blogs. Is this, perhaps, known better by a different name? Badger Drink (talk) 11:02, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
