Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:24, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Static (The Twilight Zone). There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 22:57, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing.

Who wrote this? I've done no "vandalizing"? Jimknutt (talk) 21:21, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote it, and your edits to lost film were, in every way, vandalism. I understand that vandalism can be a mistake, but it’s happened with you twice before. And to think that you don’t think you vandalized Wikipedia with what you did is enough to warrant a ban. Raltoid (talk) 16:29, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I corrected the punctuation of film titles that should be in italics, not quotation marks. You consider this vandalism? I think you would have to get some backing from Wikipedia before you can have me banned. Jimknutt (talk) 17:08, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That was the first of two. The second one involved removing large amounts of content, for no apparent reason, which you have been warned not to do before. Raltoid (talk) 17:25, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What is it you say I removed? BTW, you need to explain why quotation marks are being used (incorrectly) in some parts of the Lost films article, but italics ae used (correctly) elsewhere in the same article. Jimknutt (talk) 17:30, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see, I replaced the information you took away in edit. The information at the bottom was removed by you, then replaced by me. Tell me this isn’t vandalism, what you see at the bottom. Raltoid (talk) 17:55, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea of what you're talking about. Jimknutt (talk) 18:01, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Check this edit. There were 2,751 bytes of text deleted. —C.Fred (talk) 18:29, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
See, this is why I reported him. After being warned twice, something like that is hardly “accidental”. Raltoid (talk) 18:32, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I did have a power outage while I was editing. Perhaps this loss happened then, which would be accidental, not deliberate vandalism. BTW, you still need to fix the incorrect punctuation; i.e. film titles should be in italics, not quotation marks. Jimknutt (talk) 19:23, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Track listings

[edit]

Please see WP:ALBUMSTYLE: there are many valid ways to style a track listing, so if an article has one established, please don't change it. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 23:27, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, Jimknutt! The list you nominated, William S. Hart filmography, has been promoted to featured status, recognizing it as one of the best lists on Wikipedia. The nomination discussion has been archived.
This is a rare accomplishment and you should be proud. If you would like, you may nominate it to appear on the Main page as Today's featured list. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Giants2008 (talk) via FACBot (talk) 00:26, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fay Wray, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page This is the Life. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
