Description pages for Commons files
[edit]Hello, I have tagged your update to File:Easy Rock Cebu.jpg for speedy deletion, as the local description page of a file on Commons. This is not an error on your part nor am I saying the file itself should be deleted, it is simply a technicality. With very few exceptions, updates like the one you made to the description belong at the file on Commons, not here locally on the English Wikipedia. This is so if anyone wants to use the file at another Wikipedia, they can see the updated description as well. Please make the edits at c:File:Easy Rock Cebu.jpg. — Train2104 (t • c) 14:49, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
- Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from the page you created yourself. In this case, the Commons file is marked as public domain, therefore no fair use rationale is required. — Train2104 (t • c) 15:01, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
