2009 V8 supercar season

[edit]

Thank you for your efforts contributing to the 2009 V8 Supercar season article. However, when adding a new driver to the list you need to provide a source of where you got the information from, and please from an official team source. Wikipedia is not a chat forum for adding any old speculation, refer policy WP:CBALL. Refer to the 2009 V8 Supercar season#Driver and Team Changes for how to document a source. Michael Patrizi's 2009 plans has not been officially confirmed by the team concerned and should not be added until they do, James Courtney's late decision to switch teams is an example of why official team confirmation needs to be sourced. --Falcadore (talk) 13:43, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide sources for new drivers as per the examples set previously. Do not say in V8X, add the sourcing information per Citing sources. Also, at the moment PCR only have one franchise. Your source will also need to document how PCR have acquired a second franchise in order to run the car. --Falcadore (talk) 03:34, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This has nothing to do with whether I believe you or not. There have been well over 100 attempts to add driver details to this page, most of which I believe to be ture, but Wikipedia guidelines require the burden of proof to be demonstrated. You have not done this. All you need to do is to improve your sourcing information by adding an in-line citation. Knowing something to be true is not good enough, there has to be evidence. --Falcadore (talk) 03:42, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please edit objectively. It is never about what you know, but what you can prove. Evidence is more important than knowledge, if you can't grasp that concept, then perhaps Wikipedia is not for you.
Additionally, it was never personal you just did not provide adequate sourcing information. If that had been provided I would not have had a problem. --Falcadore (talk) 05:48, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on TADesigns requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.    7   talk Δ |   05:36, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
