Re: Republic of Giambi
[edit]Re your message: In order for your group to have an article on Wikipedia, you must establish the group's notability per the notability guideline. You must provide citations from reliable sources covering the group. It is not just any third-party source, but reliable third-party sources. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:30, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Jim, maybe I can you Jim? I appreciate your efforts in helping me to establish some credibility for the Republic of Giambi. So far Gogo Dodo has been very helpul in stearing me in the right direction, what do you propose we do? —Preceding unsigned comment added by GreatGooglyMoogly93 (talk • contribs) 19:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:42, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

personal attacks
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.Canterbury Tail talk 12:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
How about you refrain from removing a proper article, and calling something nonsense that you obviously have no idea about Jimbeemerz444 (talk) 12:54, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Canterbury Tail, you constantly accuse people of these attacks. You need to respect peoples' edits and stop being so threatening towards them. If you doubt someone, an editor of your calibre, would go to the talk page unless it was obvious spam. In this case, it was not.--Theosony (talk) 23:37, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Edits such as this one are personal attacks and as such will not be tolerated on Wikipedia. There is no room for respecting others edits in such edits, they are not acceptable. As such a warning was given, correctly. If you have an issue with such warnings being given for personal attacks such as this, then please take it up with the appropriate people. A tag has been placed on Giambi Federation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lots42 (talk) 12:55, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
