Hist. of U.S. Const.

[edit]

I've gone through the History of the United States Constitution rewriting to condense and modify my earlier narrative style into something more summary and encyclopedic. Looks like 10104 words now, even though I've added and expanded sections. Cutting the debate tit-for-tat that you recommended sort of sucked out the drama, like balanced, well edited encyclopedia copy is supposed to do. But you gotta know it hurt to cut the splashing hand pumps in that sweltering summer on the street corners of Independence Hall. Anyhow, could you do a quick read-over for style and other there? Hi. When you recently edited Sidetone, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I wish I had noticed this on Saturday....

....but your "Smith-9th Street" photo is actually a photo of the 4th Avenue-9th Street station. (Look at the sign on the background.) I've removed the photo from Smith 9th and moved the photo title to a correct name on Commons. Mitch32(Never support those who think in the box) 03:33, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. And I only had to look back in my memory to recall that this was a day when transfer between BMT and IND was disrupted. It doesn't bother me much that the dificult circustances made an ugly picture, but the mislocation only came from not thinking. Thank goodness for more alert minds looking out for my goofs. Regarding the number of parishes in the Archdiocese, could you please add http://www.archny.org/pastoral/parish-planning (which states that the number of parishes is 370) as a reference, as I do not know how to do this? 71.72.16.125 (talk) 17:44, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nikkimaria has drastically forced on the article Gentry an solitary, unparalleled and uncompromising destruction of an article in the name of summarizing. Under the disguise of summarizing she exchanges material for other material. The galleries and images in the Gentry article have already been over 50% reduced in the spirit of cooperation. Please help in the discussion. The changes have been major and constructive discussion would bee needed on the Gentry talk page. Thank you. Major Torp (talk) 12:26, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
