I saw your edit. This map was published in a well-known book. You are removing this as Removed no resource reference map or may be misleading, unreal or false. Unless you can provide a better source than this, otherwise you should not be making these edits. Freetrashbox (talk) 11:40, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to engage in subtle vandalism by making unexplained changes to information, you may be blocked from editing. Freetrashbox (talk) 23:24, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Freetrashbox what mistake I did, I always try to do my best when editing content on Wikipedia. Do you mean add reference link for every page I edit. Jiilaal (talk) 06:40, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course you are right. Wikipedia edits require sources. This is true for all edits, but you should be especially careful to provide sources when asked to do so by others or for controversial articles. Freetrashbox (talk) 02:40, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thanks for your response and I also would like you keep on eyes gebogebo and mohadeeq01 who is the same person. Jiilaal (talk) 11:55, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I commented on you at Talk:Berbera. Freetrashbox (talk) 12:45, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you see I added links for my last edits. Jiilaal (talk) 13:00, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Jiilaal! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Berbera several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Berbera, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 20:39, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello S0091! Thanks for your suggestion of dispute resolution options, I have discussed with Freetrashbox for my point of view of the Berbera on Wikipedia so I waiting his response after I send general historical story of Somali cities. Isamusa was the original governers of Berbera and controlled by the Isamusa Isaaq Somali. Jiilaal (talk) 19:07, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good to hear you are engaging in discussion, Jiilaal and also to @Freetrashbox for their help with resolving disputes. I left the same message for Mohadeeq01 so will see if they engage or or not. S0091 (talk) 19:21, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I gues Mohadeeqa01 and gebagebo is same person. and Freetrashbox is with Gebagebo and I send because I sent many proves about but still he is saying stop editing ! Jiilaal (talk) 06:23, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @S0091, Can you join us to resolve the issue because the history provided by gebagebo and in misleading the people really? Jiilaal (talk) 06:27, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am not familiar enough with the topic to be useful and it seems several editors have disagreed with your changes based on the number of editors who have reverted your changes. Also, after I told you not restore you changes you did anyways. I am going to restore it back once again. You will end up being blocked if you continue without gaining consensus first. S0091 (talk) 15:07, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Really the restored content is false but how to make consensus and what I can do now to restore or add the real content of Berbera. Jiilaal (talk) 06:43, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am not saying that your information is wrong or that the current Wikipedia statement is correct. However, your information is not supported by the literature. If you want to write something in Wikipedia, look for it in a book that describes what you want to write about and indicate the name and page of that book. Freetrashbox (talk) 11:13, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia editors, you and I, are not reliable sources. Even if an editor is a famous scholar at a university specializing in Somalis, they cannot change the Wikipedia description without a source. If the source used in Wikipedia is wrong, it is necessary to rewrite it using a more reliable source. In Wikipedia, whether something is correct or not is determined by whether the source is more reliable. See Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Freetrashbox (talk) 21:14, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thank you, I will do what is possible to arrange the real sources regards Berbera. Jiilaal (talk) 15:19, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Berbera shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Whether your edits are correct or not, you may not force the changes unilaterally by edit warring. You must discuss the changes and get consensus at the talk page.C.Fred (talk) 21:16, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello C.Fred,
Why wikipedia annoying people after someone put on false or fake resources. like Gebagebo user has multi accounts.
And you will say, You may being blocked from editing' Is that fair? Jiilaal (talk) 21:30, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have failed to provide valid counter-sources to the ones that Gebagebo has cited. Further, if you are going to assert that another user is inappropriately using multiple accounts, you need to have solid evidence to back the claim up. Baseless accusations of sockpuppetry are treated as personal attacks. —C.Fred (talk) 21:32, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure that he/she has multi-accounts and that's not personal attack. I shared many proves but gebagebo talking some one may be known each other on Wikipedia and deleted or not want to read the history. Jiilaal (talk) 21:37, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Berbera and Sahil, Somaliland) for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —C.Fred (talk) 21:35, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is not fair C.Fred.
as you can understand from this text, The Isamusa Somali clan were the governors of Berbera even the early centuries and now.
"The Isamusa, whose pasture area is the coastal plain, also raise a transit duty of 4 anas (approx. 48 pfennigs) from the caravans for the loaded dromedar and 1 ana for each sheep and each goat, which from other tribes after the Markets to be brought from Berbera." Jiilaal (talk) 21:43, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you seem not to understand, you did not cite a source for said text, nor did you adequately respond to other editors' concerns about your edits. Thus, your edits rose to the level of disruption, which necessitated blocking you to preserve the integrity of the project. —C.Fred (talk) 22:02, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Not to all Wikipedia editors, just Gebagebo who has always try vandalism content. What if I cite my next edits and gebogababand his wikipedia administrator friends remove without explanation.

Are you netrual C.Fred because this sources regarding Berbera city, Sahil and Sool regions are not based reality and even Gabiley town. Jiilaal (talk) 10:28, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As I stated before, I did not review the sources. I determined that both parties are editing in good faith, which means you're edit warring. —C.Fred (talk) 20:22, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
