[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Inendi Inspector and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- Are you referring to the "Description" section ? I tried to cite as many secondary independent sources in the "History" and "Awards" sections (en.lesassisesdelacybersecurite.com, www.globalsecuritymag.fr) but of course I used the press releases from ESI Group for the information regarding the acquisition of Picviz Labs and the release as open source of the software).
- I found two scientific publications that describes some of the software uses-cases :
- Scientific publication from the International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications (IJACSA) :
- "Recent tools such as Picviz Inspector are able to process large logs files; they can be viewed as pre-analysis tools, able to reduce the initial entropy of possible ways of analyzing."
- Thesis of french national gendarmerie officer Éric Freyssinet "Combating botnets: analysis and strategy" (in french) :
- https://tel.archives-ouvertes.fr/tel-01274007/document :
- "Splunk ou PicViz (qui propose une analyse en coordonnées parallèles), utilisés souvent en complément de ces SIEM, proposent des stratégies à leurs utilisateurs"
- I also found the article "Why Simulation Users Should Care About ESI Group’s Open-Source AI" published on engineering.com that describe in details what the software does :

- Thank you to Primefac for alerting me to these comments here, I had not previously seen them, sorry about that Jib73. Taking in order:
- https://thesai.org/Downloads/Volume4No12/Paper_11-The_cybercrime_process_an_overview_of_scientific_challenges_and_methods.pdf says Recent tools such as Picviz Inspector [37] are able to process large logs files; they can be viewed as preanalysis tools, able to reduce the initial entropy of possible ways of analyzing This is a single sentence about the software and slightly undermined by the word 'Recent' when the article is from 2013.
- https://tel.archives-ouvertes.fr/tel-01274007/document is a PhD thesis (a primary source) and again contains a passing mention. Note that we allow non-English sources, they're 100% OK, but if you're going to rely on them to any extent, you're likely to need a French-speaker to approve your draft.
- https://www.engineering.com/story/why-simulation-users-should-care-about-esi-groups-open-source-ai does look like a solid source
- One article is not enough. Sorry. Stuartyeates (talk) 20:16, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Stuartyeates
- I found more sources in French language :
- https://fr.calameo.com/read/0003873626e67bc608710 (page 8, dating from June 2012).
- https://docplayer.fr/651257-Rapport-d-etude-sur-le-big-data.html (page 10, dating from October 2012)
- https://soluzen.net/3-eme-articles-deux-nouveaux-appels-doffre-nationaux/ (dating from July 2014)
- http://buir.free.fr/archives/pdf/ils420.pdf (page 2, dating from February 2016).
- And one other in English language :
- https://www.torchsec.org/apache-find-sql-injections-attacks/ (dating from Septembre 2011)
- Plus, I do not know if it can count as a source but I have a photo of Thales Group presenting the software to French interior minister Christophe Castaner during the FIC 2020 :

Hi Jib73. Finding more sources is 100% the correct response here, but I'm pretty much at my limit due to not speaking French. You may wish to post a note at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_France asking for a francophone to review the article. The image is a primary source, so can't be used as a source, but can be used to illustrate the article. Stuartyeates (talk) 19:15, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Stuartyeates, I followed your advice and asked for help here : Wikipedia talk:WikiProject France#Request for help from a French speaking reviewer.
- In the meantime I've found two more secondary independent french sources from globalsecuritymag.fr :
- https://www.globalsecuritymag.fr/Conference-Orange-Business,20121121,33859.html
- And also four more that would probably not considered secondary nor independent :
- https://www.globalsecuritymag.fr/Philippe-Saade-Picviz-Inspector,20120712,31355.html
- https://www.globalsecuritymag.fr/Philippe-Saade-Picviz-Labs-vous,20130207,35294.html

To be considered, the sources need to be in the article, not here. Good luck with the article. Stuartyeates (talk) 17:44, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
