Speedy deletion nomination of Joe-Hall
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Joe-Hall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. doomgaze (talk) 19:42, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

- The point of deleting the page is that Wikipedia is not a place for original research. If you can document PE phobia, you'd be welcome to create a page about it. However, I can't find any reference to "PE-phobia" anywhere. You're right; the condition is obvious. But you need to cite existing research, not create your own here.
- Say, that's a good idea: why don't you go document PE phobia? -- But not here. Jsharpminor (talk) 20:54, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Pe phobia, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hang on}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 20:41, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Deletion of articles.
[edit]Please read this:
It explains what Wikipedia is and why your articles are being deleted. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 20:59, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
I don't think it is
[edit]Why do you have to do this? come on seriously someone people out there could be having a time thinking "damn i hate pe. But yet i really want to do it why" and then they will look online come across this page and go yeah you know what i do need some counseling and then i will be helping out there obesity and also there passion for pe.
- That's not what Wikipedia is for though. It's a compendium of information about notable subjects. Notable means that there is significant coverage about it in reliable sources. Made up stuff is not notable, however good you might think your idea is. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 21:12, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Well what is your subject about? i don't think yours could be reliable. As i still hold the ground this source is reliable as if you read the article it has 2 in 5 people have PE phobia.
- Where did you get that information from? Is it something you made up? Is it something you researched yourself? Is it something you kind of heard somewhere? None of those are allowed.
- Did you find it in a reliable source? That is allowed. Is this information found in a book or magazine article? That might be allowed, depending on the specific book or magazine. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 21:25, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
I read it of an american magazine called Back home but then again this was a year ago so the magazine is out of date so the numbers could have risen or fallen since then.
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Sports phobia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Enough. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:07, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Angry letter.
[edit]I don't see the point in Wikipedia then if your just going to keep on deleting pages! WHO do you think you are? you have NO right to delete pages YOUR SUPPRESSING HUMAN RIGHTS!! what are you communist? No? well you certainly act like one dictating what can and can't be posted. Sort it out!!!
- Wikipedia owns this domain therefore you must follow their simple policies if you wish to continue as an editor here. Free speech does not apply on Wikipedia, sorry. If you want some help with an article I'd be glad to help. Sincerely, Winner 42 Talk to me! 20:56, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia suppression
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Wikipedia suppression, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Comment
[edit]Yes, some of us here do have the right or privilege of being able to delete articles and of being able to block people. This is because we have been elected to do it. We are like the moderators that you get on any forum. Wikipedia is free. Yes. Wikipedia has rules. Also yes. Wikipedia is NOT a site where you can just post anything. The rules are those of the community that runs Wikipedia. I feel that you did not fully understand how Wikipedia works before you posted your articles that have been deleted. I may have deleted one - I can't remember. (Just looked - no, I didn't.) "Anyone can edit Wikipedia". True - apart from those blocked or banned for misbehaviour or one or two other things. This means that people can undo what you have done. Admins can do it a bit more permanently. Can I suggest that you read some of the policies (WP:GNG general notability, WP:RS reliable sources, WP:OR original research, and WP:BIO guess what?). Then, if you want to make an article, create it in your userspace and ask for advice. Most of the regulars will help if they can. If not sure, ask. Peridon (talk) 21:08, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
