Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (January 26)
[edit]Hello, Jffmurphy10!
Having an article declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! buidhe 23:21, 26 January 2019 (UTC)

Ian.thomson, I would think a personal Sandbox would be personal and not up for denial but review and comment. Why would anyone use it to gain points instead of giving feedback?

- You should read this guide (especially the section "Getting around the site") and maybe try out this tutorial. Responding to users on different pages (as you've been doing) is like trying to have a conversation while running from room to room.
- Again, if you did not want your sandbox reviewed, you should not have submitted it for review, as you can be seen doing in this link. If you had not submitted it for review (which, again, you did), it would not have been reviewed. Ian.thomson (talk) 00:17, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- Also, you need to stop marking your edits as minor, unless they meet the criteria listed here. Ian.thomson (talk) 00:21, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Have we learned anything from this exchange? jffmurphy10 has! Minor edits don't show in the new response category. Maybe there are no points assigned. Is it all about the points? These are minor edits, in our opinion.
We are here to build an Encyclopedia. Thanks for your assistance!

Signing comments
[edit]Where ever you comment (Talk pages, Teahouse) sign by typing four of ~ rather than typing out your name. Also, what is with "We"? Editors are supposed to be individuals. If more than one person is using User account Jffmurphy10, then each needs an account. David notMD (talk) 03:24, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Yeah David, about that... I'm what is referred to as a team player, therefore I find it more homonious to use the term we, rather than I. About that signature, I use the Jeffrey E. Murphy 05:54, 27 January 2019 (UTC) button and that's my signature. It's my real name! Maybe you're not familiar with the different templates. If you need help with that, I'd gladly show how to utilize them.

- Thanks for offer of help, but I have been here since 2006, and am fine. By 'signing' I mean using the four ~. That creates your User name, talk page and contributions each as clickable links. When you do not do that, a Wikipedia autobot adds your signature, but later.
