Request reason:

Hi. I am relatively new to Wikipedia and only made some minor edits and don't really know how to contribute the talk page I think I did once but it's not important. Living in Turkey there are some blocks to sites and these sites which are neutral, "considered anti-Turkey" by the government and other sites like YouTube, Twitter and Pastebin being blocked consistently I have decided to use a VPN. Please unblock me since I am here only to make spelling corrections or to ask questions :P

Accept reason:

I do not see a block here. Please post, below, the exact message which you see when you try to edit. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 16:26, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia.

You are still able to view pages, but you are not currently able to edit, move, or create them.

Editing from 192.241.128.0/17 has been blocked (disabled) by DeltaQuad for the following reason(s): Server-multiple.svgThe IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be a web host provider. To prevent abuse, web hosts may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You will not be able to edit Wikipedia using a web host provider. Since the web host acts like a proxy, because it hides your IP address, it has been blocked. To prevent abuse, these IPs may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you do not have any other way to edit Wikipedia, you will need to request an IP block exemption.

If you do not believe you are using a web host, you may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. Place any further information here. [[User:Jewnited|Jewnited]] ([[User talk:Jewnited#top|talk]]) 22:25, 9 April 2015 (UTC)}}. If you are using a Wikipedia account you will need to request an IP block exemption by either using the unblock template or by submitting an appealing using the unblock ticket request system. If you wish to keep your IP address private you can email the functionaries team.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using web host in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.

This block has been set to expire: 00:27, 29 August 2015.

Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors and administrators.

Your user name

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Jewnited", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because many people will find it offensive. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. -- Diannaa (talk) 01:55, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well Diannaa, I am a Jew who believes all Jews should be united, not physically in Israel but in mind ideologically. Jews + United = Jewnited. Not Jewnited States of America or any antisemitic crap like that. Simple, I am a Jew myself and I don't think people would find this offensive although if they do, I'd be more than glad to explain it to them.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jewnited (talkcontribs) 2015-05-22T11:41:47‎

File permission problem with File:Topal Osman and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Topal Osman and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.jpg, which you've attributed to Mahmutcan Ateş. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:18, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
